How long it takes to complete a task

This shit truly hit home as a software lead. Died a little inside when I read user stories and the merging, jesus christ the merging... It is even worse at my job because we use a visual language that make life harder for everyone. I fucking hate it so much. I just drink a lot and avoid code reviews because fuck trying to understand other people's convoluted ass shit. I don't give a shit as long as their module works and has an easy to understand interface.

Then everyone complains about how long shit takes to get done. I make development faster and then we get complaints about bugs, you can't fucking have your cake and eat it too, people. This is truly something you cannot truly appreciate until you get put in these shoes. Even junior developers don't understand this shit because how quickly you are able to make things when you are working alone.
