How Millenials Watched - And Responded To - The First Debate (boiseweekly.com) <= Georgetown University graduate student plans to vote for Green Party candidate Jill Stein because "both Clinton and Trump don't pay enough attention to climate change and the collapse of the middle class"

Interesting article but rather than talking about alternative candidates it basically just picks one of each type and often for kinda iffy reasons.

One voter voting for Stein because they're from Washington State which will likely go to Clinton so they're voting 3rd party because it's a safe state.

One voter for Johnson because they feel unheard by Clinton and Trump and want to support the Libertarian party. OK, but for what reasons do the Libertarians "get you"? What solutions are they offering that you think are the right ones?

Two voters for Clinton. Already unfair and contrary to the idea of the article. One voting reluctantly because they're scared of Trump promoting racism and homophobia. Another because Clinton is more "realistic" in her campaign promises. Never mind her wild shifts between "your dreams aren't practical" when she's running against Sanders to "Look at the bright future I've deigned to provide for everyone" when running against Trump.

And then one voter for Trump because he's encountered a bunch of immogrants trying to steal government services and feels the image that Latinos need coddling from the government is an affront to his Latino heritage.

I was kinda under the impression this was going to talk about why 3rd parties are drawing in masses of millennials voters rather than just "this demographic has lots of schisms".
