I go in there and try to poke at people but I think fundamentally they're just liberals themselves and don't want to admit it, since their politics are just oriented within the electoral social-democratic framework of getting just enough votes to put Bernie Sanders into office or whatever. There's still that pathological obsession with liberals that my Marxist friends gave up a long time ago which makes me think most of these people are new to thinking about politics outside the coordinates of Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney. There's something a bit fishy about self-proclaimed leftists who think the biggest problem with liberalism is that it's too woke or whatever. Liberalism's problems are way more serious than that.
