How to *not* kill indoor Creeping Fig/Success stories or am I doomed?

This is a year old but I’ll still comment. I’ve had one die I think because he was left outside and not enough water.. I still have him in a pot hoping he’ll come back but it’s been a while lol. Now there’s mixed advice so I had my other two in a container that was snug. They weren’t happy. Barley put out any growth. Browning of leaves. It was a pain in the ass. They were essentially like a fussy baby. Then I read the pot should be twice the size of root system. This has helped. ALOT. I have to add more perlite to the mix to make it a bit quicker drying but now he’s growing like a weed. And bigger more beautiful leaves. I’ve learned too he’s pretty intolerant to any direct sun. Infront of a west window is too much for him. So having him approx 7 feet back in the room and my larger pot size and kept over a saucer with stones n water and regularly misting, I’ll have a beautiful plant in no time. It took a minute for me to understand it’s behaviors, what it’s capable of and all That. Hope this helps someone
