How is sexuality still a heavily debated topic?

Homosexual acts are sinful, as noted in the Bible in several different places. We are condemned because of our sin and require Jesus' forgiveness in order to go to heave. The Bible also makes it clear that we are ALL sinners and condemned without the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

I have not committed the sin of homosexuality, but I've definitely committed other sins. Does that make me better than a homosexual person? Nope. We're both in the same sinking boat.

Awful people? Sure. And so am I because of sin, regardless of which particular sin. Condemned? People have to be careful to condemn only the sin and not the person. Only Jesus gets to judge and knows what's in our hearts. The only unforgiveable sin is unbelief.

Gay people deserve Christian love like anyone else. Sure the act is a sin, but nobody is innocent of sin. I will not accept the practice as sinless, but insofar as I won't accept any other sins.
