How start? it's my first time!!

I'm echoing don't be an au pair if you don't like kids.

However. My first au pair (also Argentinian) is absolutely dead set on not having any children of her own. She now works at a daycare. When she was with my infant daughter, she did a wonderful job. My daughter was always clean, fed, and happy.

With that said, working with a baby, she was stuck at home to a nap schedule, of course lots of diapers, etc. So pros and cons.

My daughter has grown to be a sweetheart and is a doll to our current au pair but lots of complaints on this sub about kids hitting the au pairs or screaming at them and not much support from the host parents.

At the end of the day, you will probably be with a child or children for 35-45 hours a week so... it's a big ask for you to have innate patience and understanding of where kids are developmentally.
