I have very large, green eyes.

Having large eyes in general is apparently attention grabbing, and having a rare eye colour even more so. Mostly it just means social interactions have to touch on that topic at least once before people have "gotten it out of their system". Sometimes I can tell it's building up and they want to say something but feel like they shouldn't (sort of like how it's considered rude to comment on how tall/short someone is). Then there's this sort of excited long exhale they do after they mention it. Sometimes they'll say it louder than the way we've been talking previously, like an interjection, and then an exhale follows it--as if they've relieved some sort of internal pressure that had mounted as a result of not mentioning it when it first occurred to them.

Overall it's a plus I think. My eyes are pretty cool. I like to think I can stare into people's soul with them through their tiny, tiny little ocular windows.
