I bought both at the same time around a year ago.

I only have 20 minutes in Tarkov. I've have hundreds and hundreds in Hunt Showdown. Hunt is just easier to pick up and literally has a map. Once I got into Hunt I focused my attention on getting better at it rather than Tarkov. I don't not want to learn the map to figure out extracts... Also Hunt random matchmaking just does the job for me to find a team. Tarkov just feels stressful when I load it up. Hunt feels like I can unwind while playing it.

Also I feel like the type of player that is really good at Tarkov will be a super unfun teammate in Hunt Showdown. With Hunt you die a lot but you still have fun many times.
