Okay, wow. I'm ?? because the same thing happened to me. me and my best friend were literally stuck to each other by our hips. Everyone knew we liked each other but we were both rather idiots (I'll say) because we were never able to confess, considering the fact that we told each other everything. Mutual friend of ours always kept trying to hook us up and what not. Fast forward 2 years, shit happened. My best friend stopped talking to me all of a sudden, I became an introvert, had the worst last year at school and that bloody cunt who always tried to hook us up ended up dating him. :) even I'm not in contact with any of my friends from school, only 2 maybe.. we've become friends well but it's never going to be the same and it's been idk how many years? 6 years and I still fancy him.

I can very well understand how you might be feeling and I know it can be hard but once you move on you'll realise what all is there that's been waiting for you. You can come across someone much better. you won't miss opportunities you have been possibly because you're stuck up on someone. Initially it's hard to suddenly stop liking someone you have been for a long time but I believe it's not impossible. I personally even though still like him and I swear my ass would jump him if we meet but yeah I've learned to move forward. I hope you do too, also please don't get any rash thoughts in your mind such as committing suicide and what not, it's definitely not worth it.
