If your employee files for a leave with the reason being "my fave group is having a comeback on that day" would you approve of it? Asking for a friend

Legally speaking as long as they have the proper PTO then it doesn't matter. Just take it that day off and I won't even bother asking for the reason because not my business.

If I were to be totally judgemental though, why waste that day off on a CB dat? Not much happens day 1 of a comeback. All you get is the album drop, one MV, and a stage. You don't need a whole day for that. If it was a concert then I totally understanding taking a day off even 2 for it. I've done that this year for the most part lol.

BTS PTD Las Vegas: Had Saturday tickets and did a half day Friday to flight out and Monday off because I got home at night. Should have just taken all of Friday off to have a chill flight and Tuesday off to get readjusted.

Stray Kids: Another half day day of the concert and took the next day off because I'd be driving a lot. Should've taken just two whole days off.

ITZY: Didn't take a day off because it was finally a local concert. Tired but fine.

Blackpink: It was the same venue as Stray Kids so I learned my lesson and took 2 days off for it.
