I'm majoring in computer science. And this major just isn't for me.

When I was trying to decide what I wanted to do with my life a couple years ago, I started thinking about robotics, and coding, and all of these other very technological things. So I grabbed a book on C++ and brought it home, and it sat on my shelf for a good year before I went to school. I took it with me because I figured it would be a good supplemental reading. I opened the book a couple times but never actually started learning C++. Obviously, I've learned a little now, from school. But, one of my biggest revelations was that, I knew deep down inside, that I would never ever ever ever be the best programmer in the world. I may one day be a decent programmer, I may be an alright programmer. But I won't ever be great. That kinda changed my opinion on a lot of things and it made me realize what I wanted to do. Yes, it would've been a challenge to try to become a very good programmer, and I too love challenges. But why challenge yourself at something you don't like?

Anyways, that's my story, take from it what you will.

Good luck.
