What a series of events. Blew through all of these posts in 2 days. I pictured each encounter in my head as if I were actually there. Had to stop a few time to snap back into reality because I found myself getting so into these stories. Even the comments got to me after a while. But I'll and my own 'odd' experience in the woods behind my neighbors house.

I was about 9 or 10 yo. Was with my sister and a few of our friends from our neighborhood. The woods we went into weren't really big. About 2 miles deep from the house we started at to a semi-busy road. So anyway, we're marching along and these woods are pretty thick, lots of trees, about mid Autumn since I remember there were no leaves of the trees. But we can see this structure in the distance. So we make that our destination. When we get closer, we realize that the structure is a wooden half pipe for skateboarding. I was all into that shit at that age. But when we get to area, it was a flat circle with no trees. About a 20 ft radius. We all just stood and looked at the half pipe and then one of our friends pointed to the left and said "look". It was a noose. But the top was wrapped around a branch like 15-18 ft up. Someone had to of hucked that rope HARD to get it where it was. And then I looked right of the half pipe and saw a fucking squirrel with its head missing and its hand/paw was twitching like crazy. Once we all seen the squirrel, we just turned around and went back to my house. I haven't thought about this in a long time. But I just remember nobody really freaked or even said anything about it. Almost like something came over us and just told us to leave. And it's weird to think I wasn't pumped that I found a half pipe that I could go mess around on that was close to home. But I guess the noose and squirrel were enough of a sign that it wasn't a good area.

So I don't know if it was just a bunch of edgy teenagers fucking with us, or if it was some weird shit OP has been talking about.
