I wasn’t always a law abiding citizen, I knew the consequences. But I decided to get into the California medical marijuana business back in 2008. It was very much so a grey area. At one point I owned my own delivery service with advertising on weedMaps. That got too risky, so I have a friend up in Humboldt. He would send one of his drivers to meet me In Sausalito. Because I’m not coming down those mountains with 30 packs of cannabis. So a local would drive it down to Sausalito. I would meet them there. Stay the night in daily city or San Jose. Then around 9am I would hit the road for 7hrs. Then I just focused on vending. I would go around to multiple dispensaries a day. Until I met a guy who owned 3 dispensaries. He said ok, let me buy a couple pounds off you. I had just got a batch of northern lights that was amazing. He called me the next day and said, I haven’t had northern lights like that in years, are all your packs the same quality? I was very strict with quality, and I said yes. He told me bring all I have. I had 10 left, he bought them on the spot. Once we built that business relationship, it was smooth sailing for about a year. I would come in with about 10-12 pounds. Sometimes he wasn’t there, and a random bud tender would be like uhh come back when he’s here or leave a sample (I hated that, leave a sample shit). Anyway, I would tell them to call “R” and tell him that “bluedddy” was here. He would tell the bud tender to take all my stuff and come back in a couple days. I’d go back in a couple days and collect.
