Women tend to want guys who are just there to vent to when a problem arises. This is very much an irrational mindset when it comes to most women. They stop at empathy and want to vent their emotions. However, when a solution to the problem is suggested they get mad and defensive about it and want you only to be a brick wall to them as if you aren't human.

From what I have experienced, the problem-solving role ends up being us, men. We are the compassionate ones in society that offer solutions in relationships and don't sit there just acknowledging it. Just by acknowledging a problem doesn't make it disappear. We want things to be better and not just accept the status quo of whatever problem it happens to be.

This is the mentality a lot of women have. It isn't worth being around any kind of person who stops at empathy. You need to surround yourself with compassionate individuals just like yourselves to make society a better place all around and be problem-solvers. Stay safe out there boys.
