Indian undergrad student looking to immigrate to Canada after graduation as means to an end. Yes, it sounds complicated and I need your valuable advice.

Also, would having Canadian PR mean you wouldn’t be subject to the US PR processing time for Indian citizens?

No mate, the processing times are purely based on country of origin of the applicant. Doesn't matter if you have a Canadian PR/Citizenship or Australian PR.

Why not attend university in the US? This would allow you to make US contacts much more easily. Your way seems roundabout in the extreme.

University in the US costs a lot. I cannot afford it. The only feasible and better way for me is to immigrate through intra company transfer.

As a Canadian I find your approach distasteful and I very much hope you do not succeed.

Why are you being negative about it?

You are born in Canada to a relative luxury. You have universal health care and Education. I've nothing in my home country and it's a struggle of whole life to live here. Is trying for a safe and comfortable life wrong? Would you want me to go back to my home country and suffer all the way again?
