Happy to have found this sub, as a first-time entrepreneur, I've got the fever but I'm pretty shaky. * My name is Brittany Milstead, BrittanyMilstead.com * While I work full time as the marketing manager for one of the top real estate offices in Orlando, I started doing tech and marketing consulting on the side because I enjoyed it, and then I fell in love with the idea of quitting my 9 to 5 so I could help even more agents have marketing that doesn't suck. I also work with financial advisors and a few other "one-man show" style businesses. * My current source of stress is ensuring that I have the continuous income to feel comfortable quitting the job that has provided a steady source of income for the last 5 years. The sooner I quit, the sooner I will have more time to dedicate to getting my ducks in a row and winning new clients, but I must have income to pay the bills, so trying to balance and time it properly is tough. * I currently need help managing my time more effectively; there never seems to be enough hours in the day. I'm in the process now of trying to do two main things: automate as many parts of my business as I can, and create a few "hands off" residual income opportunities such as publishing an ebook, a few training courses, and recommending products/services that I get affiliate funds from. These things will NOT be the main part of my business, I'm just thinking the more potential revenue streams, the better. My next big move is to begin a consistent weekly content churn and syndication system, but I am just taking one step at a time. I'm doing this all while still working 40 to 50 hours per week. * I can help others with WordPress, SEO, list building, email marketing, and most aspects of digital marketing. Since I've been really into automating my business lately, maybe I have some advice there that some of you haven't thought of.
