Introversion is a societal ailment

When I was in late teens and early twenties I spent every day smoking weed and playing wow and CS. People would ask me to go out, and I'd say no, I prefer to be at home all day. Now that I'm on the other side I know it was never true. It's what you tell yourself because you're scared.

And obviously life is a balance, it's okay to play some games, and sit at home and read all day. But that can't be all of it.

You literally Yolo. So yolo.

I met my wife IRL but I had plenty of girlfriends before that from apps. I was cringe awful at it for years (dating and dating apps and sites) the only way to get more comfortable is to keep doing it. It definitely works. You'll never eliminate all your anxiety but you can't live your whole life afraid
