There's usually tons of very expensive skiing and snowboarding equipment laying in front of the restaurants on those mountains with nobody watching it. I've always wondered why it doesn't get stolen. I guess there's cameras, but everybody has skiing masks on. Just make sure you don't park your car where cameras could pick up your license plate. Do some research on what's the most expensive and newest model, then sell it afterwards. Should more than cover the cost of your ticket. They might become suspicious if you leave with an extra pair of skis, so to be on the safe side you should buy a cheap second hand set and swap it out for a fancy one. If the owner happens to walk out at the exact wrong time, you can just say that you mistook them for your own. To further reduce risk, make sure you do it on a cloudy/windy day so people won't be sitting outside. Also, don't sell them right away on eBay, as the person you stole it from might be checking that regularly. Maybe offer them on a local marketplace in your city.
