Yeah well if walking isn't "interesting" enough for you idk lol. I thought it was way more realistic and awesome, and also never noticed it as a problem.

Halo 1 was going to be an RTS, then some sort of free roam (3rd person?) game, then it was scaled down into levels. Dont quote me but u can look it up its something like that.

The 2nd halo mission on halo is the closest we will see to what that could have looked like, its sortof an artifact of the free roam version of the game.

Maybe you don't like big levels and you want everything to be jam packed like call of duty storyline or something with action. Well no wonder you don't like halo 1 lol. I like games that tell an interesting story and have great game play thats not just focusing on shooting people as the entire point of the game. Although halo 1 is def mostly shooting idk. I totally feel like master chief on the halo ring and that's awesome.

That idea is exactly what halo 6 has taken and ran with so..

Anyway good luck to u. halo 1 is still awesome. Halo 2 is my fav, but halo 1 story just as good. Halo 2 was the first to have online console multi-player as well.
