Job posting: $36,000 salary for lawyer

I apologize. I was fired up. If we were in person, it probably wouldn't have gone there. So, sorry for coming at you that way. It wasn't constructive.

I think I was lucky, and I know of plenty of people who graduated with me that didn't get good, or any, jobs.

I think these jobs are exploitative. And I blame the ABA and predatory law school. We are pumping out too many lawyers. Our schools are taking advantage of unsuspecting and ill-informed kids. I was one, but I was lucky enough to land a job that made my poor decision possible.

But that doesn't mean we, as profession, should be okay with these explorative jobs. It's one thing to take jobs at public service or government-backed institutions. That's not what these jobs are. They are a continuation of the predatory system that the ABA and law schools have created.

Anyway, I apologize for what I said. It was reactionary and terrible. Not becoming of our profession. So... I'm more upset that we've let it get here. We're not serving our potential clients well.
