Maybe the beatles are a central dogma to you and you will never allow yourself to experience other artists because you are close minded? perhaps mommy and daddy instilled it in your head that the beatles are forever the best like a child is forced into religion until they actually believe it? (Example: THE BEATLES ARE BIGGER THAN JESUS)
Honestly, I'm confident I could prove to you i'm not an idiot. But i dont need to. An idiot points fingers without any explanation.
What i think is idiotic is deciding the best music ever has already been created and that there is no room for a new top contender.

What generation are you in?
Could you be friends with someone who hates your favorite music artist?

Yes. Ive listened to tool, APC, and Pusicfer extensively. Same goes for the beatles.
Im 26 - a millennial. So naturally The beatles were not the zeitgeist of my generation
Yes. My friends hate like 80% of the music i like and i feel the same towards their musical tastes.
