Jungle Help!

1- depends on the champ, some can full clear with ease and others need to recall early which is fine. I play hec and kha a lot and with kha I do full clear with 3 hp pots, as hec I do only a camp and a buff then recall for my hunter potion. You might fine a way the you see better.

2- countering always depends around the map situation and there is 2 types of countering:

  • kills: when you go in looking to kill the enemy jungler. This type of countering can win you games if you master it, you must have full map awareness and good warding and obviously know how the match up gonna go when you meet up. But very risky for the most part.

  • farm: when you go in to take a camp/buff. This type of countering is worth it for the most part as long as you don't overextend and you know where is everyone on the map. jungler showed up bot and you are top side? go in for that camp and make sure you drop a ward in his jungle if you can.

the most important thing when you counter jungle is to keep monitoring close lanes, if the enemy suddenly disappear they might be collapsing on you.

3- this is a huge subject and it what make a jungler good or bad. For the most part it depends on what champ you playing and what they can do.

How I see it is that there many type of ganks.

  • Guaranteed ganks: I'm playing nocturne, I'm 6 and bot has an immobile adc with no summs overextending. this is a freebie and I should take it ASAP ignoring all camps.

  • pressure ganks: this is a tricky one and it might be a huge waste of time if you misjudge. But sometimes you need a pressure gank to keep the game from falling apart and this take more priority than farming. Say that top is about to get dove and if he is playing a match up that might lose you the game if he lose it too hard, so you help him with some pressure. Enemy might overextend and you show up at the right time to punish and it might lead to winning the game.

  • And then come farming: When in doubt, farm! don't freeze between lanes or waste too much time thinking about the gank. You think about the gank while you farming camps not when you reach lanes. clear path is not as crucial as you might so don't hesitate to backtrack to a side of the map that you already farmed if something happen and you need to be there. Also, there is always the enemy camps so you might just go there if you already cleared your jungle!

English is not my mother tongue so if something is not clear please ask away!
