Is Jurassic Park a feminist Film?

Lars Von Trier

Sheeet, honestly, even Nymphomaniac? That movie was made purely for shock value, (defending pedophiles, ignoring kid for sex, so on) but I guess that's his style although..

You can't just name random movies and get mad when you're wrong, why don't you try watching them before you attempt to use them in an argument.

I have seen all these movies, have you? Seems like no since you keep telling me to watch them or consider me some random troll.

If you want to challenge the discourse, it's not going to be through me, or trolling forums.

Only think I am on is Reddit, since this is the only place one can have a discussion without mentioning other persons mother as an argument. Or so I thought.

It would only make sense that movies reflect the sexist nature of reality?

A lot of times yes, since they have to be believable, a lot of times no, if it's not called for.

I never said anything about Disney, or marriage, and how is this a topic at hand? Who likes Disney? And Disney princesses are the worst example of female equality, why don't you GOOGLE it.

I was also implying that Disney sucks so there's no need to put words in my mouth that I didn't say.

The fact is, and regardless of what you believe, movies are not real

Why are you telling me this? I have a lot more extensive knowledge of movie industry that you do, so don't give me this crap. And that doesn't mean they have to be complete fantasy either, best movies are the ones that depict realistic actions and multi dimensional characters that feel like real people. Story can be about dinosaurs flying in to space for all I care, but people's actions have to have merit and should be based on solid motivations. If I see a girl slap a redneck in a movie, I will sure as sh*t be expecting him to bet her ass, because that's what lowlifes do. If she would slap some business dude, he would probably walk away or.. I don't know, what.

I was trying to be nice by saying

Yes, I know you were (very subtle), the thing is that you call me ignorant in one comment and then make ignorant comments yourself.

apparently you're mad about things that I never even said

Above every comment was a quote from what you said. If you meant something else I can't really know it, if you didn't type it.
