Just for context. Larkin wants to be paid the 9Mil contract. You’d expect his name to be among these names no?

A lot of clueless people last week bashed McCarty when he said Stevie Y wasn't budging on the Dylan Larkin contract extension. McCarty is 100% correct with that comment and assessment. Larkin trying to milk the wings on this contract negotiation (8-year team , $9+ AVV along with NMCs or NTCs he's requesting) is the reason why Larkin isn't signed yet.

Larkin does have a NTC in his contract right now, he can dictate which team he wants to go if the Wings decide to trade him. If he pulls this move (similar to what Taylor Hall pulled with he Sabres) Stevie Y needs to pull the contract offer off the table, start to mentally move of him and health bomb him for the rest of the season.
