Letting people who aren't on your insurance borrow your car is a fucking nightmare waiting to happen.

Christ I feel like a spoilsport every time I point this out to people. I have two vehicles - my commuter sedan and an old white work van I converted into a stealth camper for road trips, music festivals, camping, etc.

For awhile I pretty constantly had friends asking to borrow it and had to be like, "Didn't you cause an accident 8 years ago? Yea? Then my insurance isn't valid for you, no fucking way."

The amount of people that just don't understand how their insurance works and lend their vehicle out without a thought is pretty fucking bizarre.
