I kinda refuse to believe you see value in reading 2 Paragraphs before paying haha. it doesn’t really contribute much to this subreddit besides advertising. A better way to advertise to this subreddit would be something like “Hey Magic fans this is Josh from bla bla bla and I’m a Sports journalist talking all things Magic and we use a paywall. However since this is my first post I’d like to give away this article I wrote for free if you use code Josh407 and if some of you enjoyed it maybe think about subscribing to support sports writers!” Or something along those lines. That way people who don’t know about their website can sample it and determine if it’s worth subscribing to while still providing some value to this subreddit as entertainment.
