I am so ashamed that I used to think this type of thing was good. I used to think that people dealing with homelessness were just lazy. It's so clear now that that is not the case at all. And now I know that these people have nowhere to go when we chase them off. We sit in our nice warm homes on our smartphones commenting on posts like this thinking we know what we're talking about. How could we possibly know about each one of those people and what they went through to get to a point in their life where they're homeless. Every single person in this world is just one or two bad decisions from their life falling apart. I am so grateful that things worked out for me the way they did. There were so many times in my life where if something went wrong, things would be much different and I possibly could have ended up homeless.
