Maybe we are odd... but my wife and I had an honest conversation back when we were dating to not bring work home unless we actually need/want advice on a situation or had something funny/positive to share. Work is work, home is home. Whining about work in the home just brings negativity into the relationship with no benefit.

Related observation: I love gaming, but I see a lot of guys in gaming subreddits who actually seem to resent their wives for not “letting” them game all the time. Makes me wonder if they’ve ever even tried talking about personal time with her... The best though are the guys who talk about how “happy” they are now that they are divorced because they can play video games all day for escapism.
