Justice served and took like a champ

Suspect for what? It may seem to others like I'm nit-picking but in yet another instance of shit we just accept - cops are very loose with "suspect".

Often they become a suspect when they start running. People don't want to deal with you dude.

Imagine I'm telling a story "yea so I was a guy...". I know this isn't a perfect analogy, but obviously in my hypothetical you would want to know why I was chasing someone. With cops they say "suspect" they are chasing.... Well why?

I'm sure he had a reason, but we need to be more inquisitive, police misconduct starts with little things like this.

I had to add the resisting charge,

You were chasing a suspect? Were they under arrest? If so, for what? Were they being detained? If so for what? What preceded the chase that warranted a resisting charge.

So this is what passes as mutual respect, huh. Imagine a firefighter telling a story : yea so this guy with Asthma couldn't climb stairs, so I had to carry him. He said I'm a tiger and he's a tiger cub. I gave the guy with asthma a cigarette out of mutual respect".

Boy oh boy that's a low bar for respect - 1 witty joke, mad respect. Then you think you're a nice guy for allowing an asthmatic to kill himself while you are patting yourself on the back.

A job well done officer. Do you ever consider what happens to people after you pick them up for petty shit? They spend all their money, they lose jobs, they lose their cars. I live in Japan now, a huge reason being y'all knew I was on probation, nothing else to do, "let's go toss his house.... Oh look there he is, let's sit him on this curb of a busy street and search him.... Oh he's driving (to work or an appointment) pull him over we don't have anything else to do."

Cops here actually help people so it's possible..... But cultural differences and all that, im not sure América needs a police department.
