since while i was watching pools i saw almost more than 70% of the characters in the game, and from now on i'm gonna start skimming through every tournament and writing down the match ups just to shut down the "character diversity" argument.
This is not up to date, but from the first Top 8 in France until Thaiger Uppercut, with the exception of Lucky Chloe, Lars, Asuka, Negan and Kuma, every single character was played in a Top 8 game and of all those characters, only Kazuya, Bob, Anna, Lei and Lili didn't play a full set.
That means, out of 45 characters, 33 were played in a full set in the Top 8, that's 73% of the roster.
