LAOP signed a lease with his girlfriend, then it all went pear-shaped. How to get her to leave?

I don’t think he can, I think TenantTracker might show his current lease at which point the new landlord will want to know what’s up and be assured that he won’t bail on this place. Even if he could get into an apartment eviction is way worse than a credit hit. He’d end up paying the rent plus penalties when the landlord sued while also needing a co-signer and/or a massive deposit to live anywhere for years to come, and still being shut out of a lot of landlords/corporate complexes.

He’d do better to open and max out a bunch of credit cards to either pay two rents or pay her to leave, even if he defaulted on every last one of those cards, that’s how big of a nuking an eviction is. You can sometimes still get an apartment if you have shitty credit but a decent rental history.
