for some reason male comedians can be as vulgar as they want to be and nobody gives a fuck, but if female comedians are vulgar they're disgusting and unlikable and everyone asks comedy-elitist and hates them, it kind of irritates me to no end. occasionally, amy schumer has intelligent humor..I'm not saying it's the best all the time, but sometimes it's pretty damn entertaining, even kathy griffin when she wasn't doing her gimmicky shit had good moments (I will get more downvoted for this comment than anything I've ever posted on reddit I can tell. but I'm stoned and I'm going to make my opinion known..this small act of rebellion)

I honestly think..I don't know, I really love a lot of female comedians nowadays especially in shows like broad city, unbreakable kimmy schimdt (which gets more love because tina fey is beloved by reddit), inside amy schumer and even girls (which I know reddit hates and practically everyone I know hates but I don't give a fuck, I don't relate to the character at all and she's not supposed to be a good, likable person..for some reason people understand that wiht male comedians but with female comedians god forbid if she's unlikable or uses some of her flaws to be humorous ...there's a lot of selfdeprecation there..but it's like..reddit understands Louis CK and selfdeprecation there..but not in these other shows? or...girls can't be human and gross and weird as fuck and funny at the same time? sorry for this rant but...okay..chelsea handler I can't defend but to immediately lump all these girls together is ridiculous, amy schumer definitely straddles a line with some of the shit she does but...at least she's aware of that, and she deserves more respect than that in my opinion, she's funny, she works hard, personally..I'm really happy there a lot of weird strong female comedians out there (the people you listed definitely aren't the best of the bunch at all hahaha but still)
