And it's easy to see what led to this: Facebook and Free Basics helped in creating an echo chamber. The people got swayed with his heroic image of "cleaning up Davao", with his messianic image of "bringing change", and so they voted him. News about the same phenomena of the Facebook Echo Chamber is already popping up about Trump. [1] [2] [3]

There's at least 16 million people already misinformed. No matter how much education you serve on a silver platter (wikipedia is part of Free Basics, afaik), they'll still ignore it as "biased" bullshit, because the echo chamber already exists, and it's pretty lound - they hear what they want to hear. The damage is done. This guy got elected.

Now, his boyfriend wanted Daddy Ferdie to be Hero Ferdie, and that's what we're seeing here. Du30 does what his friends wants. He's corrupt. This is just a public display, how do we know that nothing bigger is going on behind the scenes? How do we know that his "war on drugs" is not an attempt for his friends to obtain a monopoly on the Philippine drug trade? It's a sign that his "change is coming" rhetoric was nothing but bullshit*. It is an issue.
