Aw no. It’s really not just about class though. Like yeah, that’s a big part of it but I guess as a real gay man I would say my rights and safety and “culture war” are pretty fucking important. I’d even go so far as to say my safety (and the safety of my loved ones) is much more important to me than class.

I guess… I’m sorry that I appreciate other people prioritizing my rights and life over your economic future. I would like for solidarity to extend to human rights instead of just wealth and property but hey, you’re free to draw your own lines.

I don’t think someone caring about human rights more than economic policy is a neoliberal problem. I think it’s pretty damn universal. Corporate wokeism aside, the world really is not generally accepting of the LGBTQ+ community at large and even symbolic fronts make a difference. Again, your politics are your own but as a fully-fleshed Gay Man️™️ I’m 100% here for the culture war and my personal safety and rights over a pipe dream about massive economic revolution (which would also require a massive culture change, but I’m sure that’s irrelevant to you).
