This has roots in the wings challenges I made in the 90s. When we first started selling wings they were 10/3.99 and slow to catch on (wow, they were amazing - huge,either BBQ or Louisiana Hot Sauce). I offered to give 25 cents per order to the top seller each week. After 4 weeks? One employee was selling 450 orders per week. For months I had to drive 200+ miles each weeks to the DNC in Tampa to get more cases of wings. She was an amazing upseller. The best she ever sold? 744 orders in one week. I didn't know if we were a wing shop or pizza delivery. I even painted a custom logo on the glass. Those were great times. The Domino's of 2019 isn't fun like that.
