Damn it! I wanted to do a post related to reformed baddies first!

Anyway:

Discord- For a show that's mainly aimed to a very young audience and for a character who shows up very little, they've managed to do a decent job I believe, showcasing Discord's array of emotions and how he's not always in full control of them, leading him to make bad decisions but also (slowly but surely) learning from them. Still, sometimes you wonder why Discord even bothers behaving around the ponies that he used to subjugate and torture, especially considering that there's nothing really stopping from doing that again and he only has one real friend that even then he is barely shown to hang out with and everyone else just sort of tolerates his presence.

Gilda- "TLTOG " was a very nice episode, that flashback of Gilda and Dash meeting each other was quite touching. The climax of the episode also adds a lot to Gilda's character. Overall this episode gave us a message that even bullies have hearts and I can't wait for more stories focused on her and Dash.

Luna- "Luna Eclipsed" was a neat episode. But aside from that, I don't know, they've never done anything especially interesting with her? Some of the comics I've read (and I haven't read all of them) are admittedly better at making her and the other princesses more interesting characters, but overall I don't strongly feel in any way about Luna, she's just sort of there.

Never bothered to finish EG, so can't write anything about what's-her-face queen bee bitch and I won't write anything about Trixie because I don't buy that she's reformed. I still think that she was just saving face to avoid being punished for ya know, attacking Twilight, holding an entire town hostage and enslaving it's citizens. Believe me, next time she finds another shot at power, she'll be back.
