Let's have a serious conversation about idol ages (and here's the data to help the discussion)

I think there needs to be a little more nuanced conversation rather than a blanket age limit. I say this because of AKMU Suhyun, LeeHI, and 15& and many child actors and actresses. When lawmakers make rules, it is very difficult to list exceptions especially for something subjective live arts and entertainment.

Suhyun, LeeHI, Jamie and Yerin debuted with concepts that were more age appropriate. Actually YG had some flak for LeeHI's sound being too mature, not necessary so much on the image. Suhyun was on the audition show willingly when she was only 13. Imagine if she waited 4 years later to debut.

When age limit is discussed, I am always reminded of Samuel.. This is the first time I comment on this issue so I'm sorry if he's often brought up.
