The life and lies of a humble spymaster

I played briefly last night after drinking. I custom made a character with the intention of making a religious/learning focused character. Why? Because who the hell would ever prioritize learning over any of the other attributes.

Well, the zealous trait, which I had to have of course, cost 25 years of age. On top of all the other religious and schorarly traits, my age was in the 80s or something. So I did the only thing I could to get it down. I gave myself frail and imbecile. But doing so also gave me diligent and ambitious.

So here I have a ridiculously learned, diligent, ambitious drooling frail idiot. I was 21. It was perfect.

Entered game. Did the usual choosing of my council, assigning them jobs etc. Theology as a focus of course. My vassals and entire court hate me because I'm a frail retard. What's my first course of action? Pilgrimage of course!

I encountered a severe rainstorm a week in, and of course I persevere through it, this is a holy journey of course.

I died of pneumonia 3 days after reaching Jerusalem and about a month after playing as the character. It was the perfect game.
