People are definitely being overdramatic about it but it does have major tone issues. Like I'm a massive fan of Taika and know he can do serious themes with comedic tones (dude literally made a movie about Hitler a comedy and did it amazingly). But there was just something off about L&T. Like it feels like two movies spliced into one? Jane being there also felt a little out of place considering her prolonged absence as much as I love Natalie Portman. Massive waste of Christian Bale imo.

Ragnorak worked because everyone including the villains were sort of on the same wavelength? Essentially everyone had major theatre kid energy and it just worked synergistically.
