Nothing too controversial on the first watch/thought.

It's pretty much a normal action movie, nothing special. But because of that, it has no reason to be so long.

I'm glad 'pushing each other from a waterfall to be the king' is not part of this movie anymore.

Namor is cool but a little too "random." Many people get killed on the spot but not the science girl, even when that is the main goal. How did he find the Queen and Shuri swimming through a random river? First, he doesn't want to reveal his kingdom to the world, but war is fine, not a day after.

Science girl is the worst. Has no character. Is a genius just because. We saw others working on their skills, fail and error, learning from their mistakes but many of the new "characters" just can do everything. She built a detector without having a sample of the stuff it is supposed to detect... that's more unlikely to work than magic.
