Lou | Official Trailer | Netflix | September 23rd

It’s weird how many Netflix movies are so basic and unimaginative. I give them full credit for taking a chance on a show like Sandman, but the amount of stuff they have that is about just mundane things is just so weird.

It’s not even that they’re bad, this movie doesn’t look terrible, but it’s just insanely unexciting. This trailer told us everything about this this movie: an angry old lady helps a woman who’s daughter was taken by her asshole ex husband. That’s it, that’s the movie.

It’s like that recent series they had which was literally just ‘place crashes, woman must find way out of wilderness and survive’. Just such painfully basic and unexciting stuff.
