British 19/M here. Id suggest taking up poker and doing poker tournaments instead of doing cash play. If youre losing a 1000 dollar bankroll in 15 to 30 minutes, youll never win. Im guessing that youre on 100 a hand or so. That is way too much if youre not counting cards and have basic stratergy mastered. Id be doing 20 per hand max with a 1k bankroll if i werent counting.

If you buy into a poker tournament, you are only losing the buy-in and will lose much less. Also, this way, you wont lose to the house the same way. This way, youll have a fighting chance to win and can build on that while still getting the thrill of throwing chips onto a hand.
