I’m sorry you think this way but let me explain

I did everything right. Got two expensive college degrees and became a high school teacher. However, I only get paid $25 per hour and that’s just during work hours. I get paid nothing for the time I spend lesson planning and marking assignments. On top of that, I have to endure harassment and abuse from burned out students.

My parents support me because they’re well off, otherwise I’d not be able to make rent in the city where I live. I hate being dependent on them. I tried applying for a better job but was rejected after a background check showed that I had the cops called on me this one time I was suicidal and was restrained against my will. That’s like having a criminal record here.

Now you tell me. What can I possibly do to get out of my shitty situation?
