I’m trans but I disagree with the LGBTQ+ community

I agree with you. At one point I was pretty far left but within the past year with how toxic and abusive the LGBTQ community had become I’ve started to lean more conservative which is a way of viewpoint I never thought I had. I think it’s extremely damaging and confusing to expose children at such a young age to these political topics and give them the power to potentially mutilate their bodies before reaching the end of puberty. I don’t care what you do to your body after 21 year olds but anything under that you are still a developing individual whose ideas and feelings change. To give the power to an unknowing and developing child to forever change parts of themselves they might later regret is devastating. Sure there are positive stories and there will ALWAYS be the someone who has to say “WELL I transitioned in my teenage years and don’t regret it”, but never take into the consideration of the failed stories and the detransition stories and how it’s worried lives. Parents and adults are no longer protecting our children because of their own political differences
