Agreed. Making fun of minors for smth that could be a misinformed cry for psychological help isn't helping anybody
Noone ''fakes'' a disorder out of pure boredom, they're either doing it as a cry for a sense of community, or bc smth else is clearly going on in their lives that needs to be solved.
The amount of, especially minors, being chronically online, unrestricted and unsupervised has started to not only be a physical danger (''meeting strangers from online), but also psychological danger, like being exposed to content they shouldn't be exposed to, or the extreme openness of some spaces and overly inclusiveness, especially in mental health spaces. Many just want to belong, and in turn convince themselves of being part of something they have no further evidence of than escapism
