Making a new Character, going to Long Sword, tips?

Ah I see. Good point. having said that its actually quite interesting when we simplify different weapons huh? Most basic way to play each weapons: * GS is find opening, draw attack, *charge if able, sheate, run and repeat * Hammer is charge 1 and approach to opening, *triple pound if able, roll out, and repeat * LS is find opening, slash combo, fade to maintain dps, make sword shine, move away and repeat until upon yellow or red focus on maintain dps until it runs out * IG is get red or *get full buff if able, and whack enemy at opening, maintain dps until buff runs out and repeat OR red or *get full buff if able and mount, maintain dps until buff runs out, repeat * CB is find opening, hit and charge phials, charge shied, hit and charge phials, dish out phial discharges when able, *Ultra upon big opening, repeat. OR guard point for days and counter respectively, repeat. * SnS is find opening, dash attack to approach, dish out combo, roll, dish out combo, focus on constant DPS, repeat or the more complicated stylish bomber but in the end its about maintaining DPS. * DB is find opening, charge archdemon, stay close and maintain DPS and demon mode as much as possible, dash away, dash attack upon opening, repeat. * SA is find opening, maintain constant DPS with axe or sword (preferably, sword), evade, maintain DPS, *dish out charge attack if able, and repeat.

I guess from a couple of the above example, the older classic weapons tend to be more simple and the newer ones tend to have more variations huh. I guess the closest to LS is SA due to the nature of all-out assault huh, albeit the latter has more variations in it.

Interesting. Thanks for letting me think about this man.
