Marital rape 'cannot be applied in the Indian context', says country's minister for women

There is a whole spectrum between treating women as cattle and women as equal to men.

Not everything is black and white. Your normal may be different from someone else's normal. Your values are appropriate in your cultural context and our values in ours. Your desire to impose your values on us is driven by a desire for hegemony and cultural dominance.

We are not denying any basic human rights to our women. At the same time we do not accede to the narrow minded demands for equality. The position accorded to the women in our society was way above cattle and just a step lower than men. And it continued peacefully until you fuckers came along and made our women go crazy. Now we have to deal with the same bullshit of feminazism as all the western countries, our families are breaking, and the divorce rates are shooting up - just like the so called 'developed' countries.

Coming to the issue at hand - wtf is this 'marital rape' anyways? Marriage comes with an understanding of consent and an expectation of sexual activity. If someone doesn't want it he/she shouldn't get married. After fulfilling every material demand of my wife, if am I supposed to get a signed consent form from my wife before I fuck her? I want the government to get the fuck out of my bedroom. There is no such thing as 'marital rape'. The definition of rape in the Indian laws excludes married couples, as it should.

And we haven't even looked at the misuse potential of this law. Already anti-dowry laws are used to harass husbands and their in-laws by their wives. We don't want another such law.

Please refrain from commenting on issues about which you have little or no idea. We can solve our own problems. Please fuck off.
