Is marriage is just a thinly veiled unpaid servitude? What is the appeal of this institution for modern women?

I am a married woman taking care of children and no, this post is in no way unsupportive or a personal attack on me. I have my own reasons for being married— but that’s beside the point. No, that’s not what feminism is about per se. Feminism is the political & moral challenge to male dominance wherever it exists. Feminism is about analyzing systems of power, social dynamics, and institutions that benefit some at the expense of others (women).

Do you really think feminism should avoid interrogating and questioning social arrangements and institutions just because it might offend some women who participate? If your answer is yes, how do you expect feminism to accomplish anything in that case?
