Marvel's The Defenders - SDCC Teaser - Netflix [HD]

London is overused, yes though that's nothing compared to how much New York and L.A and San Francisco are overused. But as I said in my previous comment, there are dozens of other cities which each would work as a great setting and are all underused. I can't remember the last time I saw a story set in Nairobi or Singapore or Shenzhen or Canberra.

That's because there's more American media then British media. (larger population) If the British media was as prominent as the US's you'd hear about London much more often.

I'm not sure why you're implying that it's unreasonable to expect comic book creators to use cities outside their own country as settings. Authors, writers and artists do that all the time, specifically because it opens up more possible stories, and because the same country is not interesting over and over again. It allows for the setting to become new and intriguing, rather than the same bland city we've seen a thousand times. And yes, if Moscow and St Petersburg were as overused in fiction as New York or L.A, I would ask Russian writers to set movies in other countries for a change.

Watch Russian tv and you'll find this is the case, it's always in Russia. Do I care? No. You're kind of whiney to be honest. Just enjoy the Damn show.
