Mauve/purpley look I tried out yesterday. CC Please :)

I'll say it again, I like your face structure. I think your eye and lip looks show it off great. They compliment you. You got a new follower/fan/friend/whatever!

My only criticism is the skin makeup. I see your point of view, thinking that if you cover your blemishes you will look "too done" or older, but, come on, you're already wearing a full face of: blush, lip color, brows, eye color, liner, mascara, etc. It's not like you're going for the natural/young mascara and lip gloss look. There are ways to not look heavy, as some of the other commenters have said.

I wear moisturiser, primer, then I put a CC cream (it has a light but good coverage). I put concealer only in darker areas and a little bit of powder on the T zone. I don't look "too done" or caked. And the skin looks like skin. You can see my beauty marks, unevenness and everything. It just polishes up the look.

I think I looked more done when I was younger and only new about powder/liquid foundation. Sometimes, more is less.

I don't know what your skin routine is before you put on foundation, but I'm interested.

If you don't pursuit a better coverage because you think it won't look like skin, I suggest trying out new techniques. It is possible.

Now, if you don't wear it just because you don't want to and enjoy your blemishes, go ahead. I don't really know if it's harder for you to cover them. I have dark circles and bags and it's nearly impossible to achieve a bag-less look. So I embrace the look, I wear a bit of concealer but don't get obsessed about making them invisible. And I've received criticism in MUA saying that I should cover them more, and I'm here thinking But I like them and I'm already covering them, you guys...

So yeah, keep sharing your looks!
